Anyone ever run a 5k and a 10k the same day? If yes what was your experience like. How long did you have between races and what did you do between, and would you do something differently if you did it again? Were they track races, road races, or cross country races?
I'm running a 5k cross country race next month and there's a 10k too and I wondered if I could do both. I'd have about 1hr 40 min after the 5 before the 10. It's a cross country course and my plan for inbetween would just be to keep my legs warm, but and probably just walk around a little bit, do a light warm up again 15-20 min before the 10. Thoughts? I'm an amateur adult runner FYI.
