Story: Training was going well during the summer and then I got a minor injury, biked for a couple days, got back to running, injury flared up, 2 days on bike, three days later race.
Today was that race(XC) and I did not race nearly as well as I would have liked to and not good relative to teammates. I'm just wondering what your guy's experiences are in terms of the first races of the season. Is it always rough like you're rusty and need to get the first race out of the way before you can get back to business?
