I just bought some Cheribundi cherry juice from costco. It's a 32 oz bottle with 200 cherries inside. The box claims that it fights inflammation, improves, sleep, accelerates recovery, boosts memory, and increases stamina. It sounds too good to be true but I decided to try it out. Anyone have any experience with this stuff? When would be the best time to drink this stuff?
Cherries are one of the only natural sources of melatonin, which is where the sleep claim comes from. As long as you drink it slowly (and preferably with an additional food that contains fiber), it's very healthy for you. It may help slightly improve your workout recovery, but the truth is that you'll get the best bang for your buck in the long term by focusing on a variety of healthy foods. When you begin eating healthy year round, it's crazy how your body changes for the better.
