Hello everyone :)
I have been suffering from ITBS since February and almost simultaneously posterior tibialis tendon dysfunction. I am no longer running and I am focusing on strengthening and conditioning as I do not want to do any damage. I have also focused on increasing cadence to 180bpm and landing lighter on the ground without a crossover gait. I appreciate orthotics are not a quick fix, but due to the potential risks of posterior tibialis damage and strain on the itb, as well as a possible leg length discrepancy, are orthotics a good idea to prevent excessive force travelling through the lower limb?( I pronate and have some excessive show wear on some new trainers, with my shoes ripping along the inside when only a few weeks/ 1 month old ( Asics GT2000) ). Thank you :)
