Very impressive considering his PB is 3:51.3!
Temperature was 36°C also! That's 97°F
I wonder what he could run in better conditions with better pacing.

That's what I'm talk'in about!!
But his mile pr is 3.57 that means his true 1500 pr is something in the 3.42 range. Quite impressive in any case.

Um, ever hear of mile conversions?

Well we already know he can run at least 3:57/mile or about 3:38-9.
Awesome Mikey!

He's also run at least 3:48 in the 1500 before in other seasons, 3:51.3 was his season's best but not his personal best.
He led from the gun like Centro, then crushed the field on the final lap:

All athletics has his 1500m PB as 3:51.3. I can't find any results of a quicker time.
I didn't see his mile PB though.
Still a great run!
The announced didn't seem to know of his sub 4 mile. He just destroyed everyone the last lap.

55 last lap is impressive especially considering he is just 19 year old. Give him 4-8 more years to catch up to Centro's base and training level. Low 50s seems possible for Mikey in a similar race as the Rio Olympic's 1500m.

Oh, so Centro's 50.6 final lap --better than 55-- means what about Centro; no brains?
Really great story. I can't wait to see him running more against other elite fields in the coming years as well.
Awesome Race! I love this guy!!
Love how, win or lose, he looks to give every competitor a hug immediately following the race.
I don't mean any disrespect to these guys, but I am struggling to understand how these men are in the paralympics. Is it just me, or are these not able bodied men? I guess I always thought that the paralympics were for the physically handicapped population. Not understanding this at all.

T20 is mental retardation of some sort. I think IQ has to be less than 75 (average is 100)
Great story. Amazed he is sub-4 in the mile with his physique. Must be incredibly dedicated, durable and well-trained.
I've talked to him before, he's a really great guy tbh, always looking to support other people and help.
