The 1500m in the Olympics was very tactical with a 50.6 second last 400m. It was effectively a 800m race. Some guys ran the mile in 3:47. Most of the field ran the 1500m in 3:30 or so.
No way these Paralympians would have medaled. Dead last.

Only the Olympic qualifying standard. Otherwise, nope, nothing.
These athletes are in the T13 category. They are affected by a light visual impairment which let them be completely independent. I don't think they have anything less than a "normal" athlete from the physical point of view.
Too many damn categories in the paralympics. And people here think swimming is bad in the normal olympics.
