All of these runners are wondering why they keep getting injured but honestly it's not hard to figure out. I ran at a christian college for years and was never injured. Read the bible every morning. just saying.

ya well im an atheist and i got injured.. this proves nothing.
I'm in the process of reading the Bible cover-to-cover (with commentary). I read it just about every morning and have only one and a half books to go.
Biggest. Crock. Ever.
I'm not going to use a book that suggests pi = 3...as my guide to navigating the universe.
I'm not going to let a book that gives instructions on how to treat one's slaves...be my source for morality.
I'm not going to have a book that proposes death as the proper punishment for picking up sticks on a Saturday...as my fount of justice.
I'm sure the reason is gravity.
If you think of yourself as Christian, yet believe God cares enough about your running to protect you from injury, well that's just sad. But I doubt you really went to a Christian college; nor do you read the Bible every morning -- you didn't capitalize the words.

There's just one little problem. The other runners actually want to be FAST.
THIS PROVES EVERYTHING

The correct answer. Genetically modified food ingredients introduced into the human food supply chain. Remember, lab rats are not humans so the long term effects means we as humans will morph into the body of grey aliens.
Don't cha' just love it!
As a fellow Christian, I'm with you but I think it may be helpful to reflect on whether this kind of understanding of Christianity might be a bit childish and superstitious. Remember, a relationship with God is not a quid pro quo exchange of belief for nice things. There is no place for love in such a relationship!

Oh, the irony.
Do you take Sunday's off?
If yes, there you go.
Getting injured is not the wrath of god, nor do I believe a wager can be made with god. Such as belief will keep me from getting hurt. I'm a Christian and I'm thankful to keep going, not to be confused with I'm injury free because I love god. Be thankful to be injury free. not meeting the man halfway, as in if I pray I will be injury free. Lol.
To anyone else I do long runs every Sunday morning, and I'll talk to god about my week and pray for others who suffer around the world. Reflect on myself on how i can be a better father and husband, give thanks for all i have, and ask for forgiveness.

pi = 3 is correct to 1 digit.
pi = 3.14 is correct to 3 digits.
Shall I not use any reference that says pi = 3.14 because it doesn't use all the digits known?
You read the whole bible and those are the things that stick out? Really?
You sound suspiciously like someone who has just read a cliched atheist blog rather than someone who is sincerely reading the bible. And forget the commentaries, each is just one person's opinion.

1) In this particular case, the numbers used were 30 and 10. It would have been easy enough to use 31 and 10; 30 and 10 yields a pi of 3 and is just wrong...not a rounding, when 31 was available. (1 Kings 7:23, btw.)
2) Those are hardly the only things that stick out. They're a bit of synecdoche, so to speak, for a pile of physical, moral, and justice errors.
3) I'm using the Zondervan commentary. I don't think that qualifies as one person's opinion...and it's the opinion of convinced and committed Christians.
4) "Sincerely" reading the Bible? Meaning what? I'm not skimming. This project has taken me years and it's been a *very* sincere decision about how to use many hours of my time.
Sometimes runners get a knee injury. Even if a knee injury is minor you must do the following:
1 Recreation. Take a break in any activity which may bring a pain. Resting, beneath the knee soft pillow.
2 Ice will reduce pain and swelling. Apply cold compresses or ice for 10 - 20 minutes, at least 3 times a day.
3 The first 48 hours after an injury, avoid anything that might strengthen swelling (hot shower, sauna, hot compresses and alcoholic beverages).
I injured my wrist posting too many troll threads at LRC.
Then I had to type with my toes, and that caused leg flexor problems. So my mileage is down.
You can start these exercises : Wrist flexion and extension
Place your forearm on a table. Your affected hand and wrist should extend beyond the table, palm down.
Bend your wrist to move your hand upward and allow your hand to close into a fist. Now lower your hand and allow your fingers to relax. Hold each position for about 6 seconds.
Repeat 8 to 12 times.
