Now that's entertainment!
In case people are afraid to click it.
It's a mattress store that is having a 9/11 Twin Towers sale.
Get any mattress at a twin mattress price.
They have two towers of mattresses in the background that get knocked down and then the girl says "we will never forget" in a joking manner.
Really bad taste
As rojo would say - "unreal"

Who cares if it was in bad taste, most good comedy is in bad taste.

Must have been some twinkies buried beneath those mattresses.

Fine maybe if they were doing a comedy sketch.
But it was an advertisement for business and I think it backfired.
And to your point, was it good comedy?
Well, that was offensive.
At first I thought it was a parody. America has turned a lot of holidays that are supposed to be about remembering a significant historical or cultural event (4th of July, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, MLK Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, etc.) into sales events to get people to spend more money. But I'm pretty sure this was meant to be a real commercial. I guess nothing is off limits anymore.
I'm not surprised, I'm just disappointed.
Also their face book page is full of bad reviews.

Wrong. Bad comedy is in bad taste.
Good for the CEO of the company who, rather than circle the wagons, got out there and immediately put out a sterling rebuke of his employees misconduct and suggested that heads will roll.

I like dark comedy and I think a joke like this could work IF they weren't really having the sale and instead poking fun at commercial holiday events.
It is still too soon to make 9/11 jokes. And it is way too soon to turn 9/11 into another gimmicky sales commercial holiday event.

9/11 is not a Federal, NY State or NYC holiday.
They should have an ad featuring that wacked-out tramp Mattress Girl from Columbia U.
Yes, I saw that commercial.
