I've been a runner for quite a while, and recently I'm coming to this realization: I am not going to be a professional runner and I am no longer enjoying running, however I feel an obligation to my team, myself, and those who have supported me to continue struggling through running. What should I do? How do I get the passion back?

You got to take time off and regroup. Only way for me. Stop being a perfectionist. Everyone will have set backs.
I agree. Last season I had four ankle sprains, knee problems, and other injuries. This summer I haven't been able to do over 5 miles at a time yet due to Runner's Knee. The main thing you must focus on is self-improvement and enjoyment of the feeling of running. As I am slowly coming back to form and fitness I have realized that the biggest gain from running is the satisfaction of being out on the road or trail and just turning the legs over step by step. The feeling of running is incredible, and that's what keeps me coming back each time I get injured or encounter setbacks.

Alan Webb said the competitive desire makes a truly great runner. If you don't have it, then no amount of fitness can make up for it in a race.
Hang up the spikes for a few months. If the desire returns to you, pick it up. If it doesn't, then move on with life. That doesn't mean you can't still enjoy running, but it doesn't need to be obsessive and you probably won't get back to your PRs.
