I was wondering if I could get some advice on possibly training to qualify for Boston next year. (I need 3:05, I'm 30 years) Recently I have I been getting my miles up to around 35-40 miles a week, with my longest run being around 16. I recently ran a 2 mile time trail around in 12:15, and most of regular runs are around 7:15-7:30 pace. My long runs have been pacing friends though, with the pace being around 9/9:15 pace. I have run a 1:29 half about sevens years ago, but haven't really serious train in a while. I was wondering if it was possible to try a and qualify in the spring around March/April, or focus on building a base over the winter and run a faster half in the spring. After Spring is over, then enter into a marathon plan for the fall and try to qualify for 2019 Boston,
