If Roger Goodell doesn't suspend or fine Kaepernick for his actions then him and the NFL are hypocrites

That would be a completely un-American thing to do. Men and women have died to protect our free speech.

What Kaepernick doesn't get is that his pay is affected by what fans think of him. I would think his actions will have a negative impact on his marketability, which will ultimately impact his pocketbook.

I think it would suffice for the NFL front office to say we strongly disagree with his actions.

Some religious views don't allow standing to anthem. Jehovahs Witnesses for example don't believe in patriotism to a country. it would be bad if the NFL forced players to stand to anthem!!!! Freedom of expression and speech.. Just saying!

And someone following a religion should be afforded more rights to his own view and actions than one who is not following a religion. How does that make any sense at all?

If you refuse to stand for the National Anthem, that's fine. BUT, if you refuse to wear pink in Oct, well, now we're talking about a serious suspension.

Any kind of punishment Goodell can mete to any player for any infraction has to be in the CBA. I doubt very much that that there's an infraction for not standing for the national anthem in the CBA.

So let's see if I have this right. If I decide to not stand for the national anthem because Jesus told me not to then that's perfectly OK. But if I choose to not stand for the national anthem because I don't think it is a good idea then it is not OK? Do I have that right?

How about if I choose to not stand for the national anthem because I don't think it is a good idea AND because I declare that my ideas constitute my religion? Is it OK now? No? Oh, you mean it has to be somebody else' ideas? Or they have to be in a book? Or...?

If I went to one of his games everyone in he stadium should boo...or better yet tell the team you plan to boycott the team until he stands..if you got season tickets don't buy any drinks or food in the stadium....
