If you are a star like Farah, I wonder if it feels empty at times to know that we know he uses drugs to be so good.

no
the vast majority of the viewing public are not aware he doped as he has never failed a test
that is what counts
I'm sure deep down, underneath all the rationalization...he feels bad.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Wouldn't be the first time someone morally bankrupt has external success and achievements. You can always write a tell all book/ oprah interview years down the road to cash in on the glorious forgiveness of the people.
None of them probably care that much, it's what they have to do to be competitive. Their spouses/loved ones probably care more than they do.
Like with the cyclists, they probably think everyone else is doing the same thing so there's no chance without them.
At least in cycling there were only so many people on the circuit; you have to join a team, you have to sign a contract, your team has to be invited to the race, your race director has to put you in the race, and there are only 18 UCI WorldTeams. So it's possible to get organized. I still assume there's doping in cycling, but fighting it seems like a more tractable problem. At the end of the day you're going to do pretty well if you can manage to convince 18 people to take it seriously. You're not drawing on the population of the entire world like the way you are in T&F.
Yes, and of course the stars like Farah still have to work very hard to be the best, but I know that if I used PEDs to be one of the best, even if I could justify it, at times I would feel like an imposter.
