What is the best way to run the Chicago marathon? I've read in years past that before the race a blue line is painted to reflect the exact distance of the course. Does anyone know if they paint it every year? Does it make sense to follow the line as closely as possible or is it better to run the tangents? Also how difficult is it to run the line or the tangents when the course is full? I will be starting in the first wave out of corral b; however, there is the American development corral and corral A ahead of corral b. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
