Team requires NB. I'm looking at the Zante v2. How is sizing compared to Saucony Kinvara?
Is the Zante a good high mileage shoe?

I can't comment on comparison to Kinvara, but I can say:
A) Zante is fairly cushioned; should work well for high mileage
B) It's a bit on the hot side. They released an updated model called Zante Breathe that might be work considering if you're training in a hot climate.
Good luck!
I've worn both the Zante v2 and the Kinvara, they go together well. Very similar. The Zante may take a couple runs to break in, but other than that no problems.

All Zantes are not created equal. I own a pair of the Zante 2 Breathe. They are different than the regular pair of Zante 2, and they are better. For one, the mesh upper is more flexible, and the perforations in the mesh are bigger, allowing more air to circulate through the shoe.
The cushioning is also different, where the regular zante 2 has very pronounced cushioning in the forefoot. The cushioning in the Zante 2 Breathe is more natural and evenly distributed throughout the shoe, and it is not overly cushioned.
The shoe is very simple, with one layer of eva foam, and a full blown rubber sole. There isn't a lot of tech in the shoe, which is a good thing. You can use it as a trainer, and even as a racer for up to a 1/2 marathon. However, you can't really use it for speed work. Actually, you can, because the show is very light. However, it doesn't have enough firmness, or snap to it to really get into a serious speed training session.
It's my favorite running shoe at the moment, and I use it for training and racing. The only caveat is that it is not an ultra durable shoe, since it just has a simple sole construction. One can expect to get 300 miles out of it, but no more than that.
But it is one of the best shoes on the market. A very natural, simple shoe, the way shoes used to be.
