Injured and out of shape to world-beater in 1 month. I'm sorry, but that's not believable, that's just laughable. I'm not going along with magic show.

Why do you say he was out of shape? Why wouldn't an injury heal in a month? Especially if it wasn't that serious, and he didn't compete in the trials just to be on the safe side?
Doesn't he do this before every major champs?

You do realize that Elaine Thompson also didn't run the Olympic Trials and she won both sprints? Why aren't you accusing her of being on drugs??
What's laughable is not that he's done that once, but several times. It's the same thing over and over. 2012? Identical, nearly. Same thing in 2015 too. Maybe some other years I'm forgetting about.
Every time he looks vulnerable, he claims injury, goes to Europe, and, without fail, not only does he come back healthy, but he comes back faster than he had been in over a year.
2012 -> he struggles to run faster than 9.88 and 19.8x. Even loses to Blake. Disappears, comes back, boom, 9.63 and 19.32.
2015 -> can barely run 20-low in the 200 and generally looks injured and terrible. Fastest 100m in two years was 9.98. Disappears, comes back, boom, 9.79 into a headwind and 19.55 jogging the last 30 meters.
This year, same thing. Can we not at least admit this is highly suspicious?
Bolt can't possibly be doped.
He's from a poor 3rd world country.
He's just a tall sprinter with an advantage.
More real-estate per stride.
It's very rare to someone to become injured/borderline injured and then COME BACK FASTER after the injury. That's the sketchy part.
It's very odd that anyone thinks anyone of Bolt's stature should have to run the trials.

I realize that and would accuse her as well. Bolt is so dirty though, you have to be some kind of naive to think he can get fit as fast as he has some years off intermittent or limited training and then trounce dirty athletes.
He wasn't too hurt to run the Trials. And he wasn't out of shape (he ran 9.88 in June)
Something hurt and he didn't want to risk injury.
Jamaica let's him do that.
If he were American he would have run the Trials.
It's like Centro not running Pre because he wasn't 100% then but winning USATF.

Oh really? She ran the fastest time in the world in those trials!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AI_3m2m_DygAnd her (now perhaps former) training partner Fraser-Pryce is the most widely suspected doper on the circuit.
Jamaica has 40 TIMES the per capita doping positives of the USA. Do you guys actually know ANYTHING about track and field?

Yes. He goes to "healing hans" Clinic in Germany before every major.
Time to investigate those "herbal remedies", calf’s blood serum, actovegin, etc.
Everyone knows Bolt is on roids but no one will ever call him on it.
...rumor has it that the entire 100m field all but Gatlin were NOT dope tested. I repeat ..Bolt walked right past drug testing and never gave a sample; Gatlin was tested.

Don't just fabricate stories.
He didn't run the Jamaican trials as a precaution. The injury was VERY minor (according to MJ) and he didn't race the final for fear of causing an injury. It is likely he saw the doctor in Germany to check everything out and make sure he has no serious problems and can get to Rio healthy. He raced the diamond league in London. He wasn't out of shape, he repeatedly said on TV and in interviews he is in great shape and that his hamstring was fine.
Pointless thread.
He's just the perfect marketer. Only runs when he needs to. He probably won't run in another meet until he preps just before the World Champs next year. Why should he? His mystique and salary is based on the fewest appearances possible and this "injury" excuse is just a smoke screen to limit his competitions. With the high priced endorsements he has-he doesn't need to compete to earn his income like other top flight sprinters.

You are forgetting his times were God awful. If he set new WRs then ok, your statement has merit. But he ran some of his slowest times of his life and won because nobody else can do better.
Maybe that's why he ran so slowly in the 100 and 200 finals.
Bolt didn't win two golds.
Who cares? Just enjoy the show. Do you complain when Rocky gets off the mat and wins by KO??Welcome to adulthood young one!
