I was watching the Olympics and I got really motivated to try and make the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Here are some of my workouts so far:
10x400 w/ 60 secs of rest starting at 60 for the first 3 and 55s for the last 7.
Later that day, I did a shakeout run of 4 miles at 5:40 pace.
On a different day, I did my long run of 13.1 miles in a total time of 1:25. Later that night, I did 8x1000 in 3:00.
My race PRs are:
400: 52
800: 2:08
1500: 4:32
3000: 10:04
5000: 18:24
10000: 40:57
Marathon: 3:25
Do you think I have what it takes?
