You should have asked him if he gave up after gold was out of the question. He looked like he gave up when gold was impossible, much like the last Diamond league race. He seems like the kind of runner where silver is considered first loser.
Or did he do poorly because he had a plan with his injured teammate to break the WR? When his teammate pulled out, he didn't know what to do?
Was he injured?
Poor tactics? Wouldn't he have learned his lesson by now? Can he confirm he had poor tactics? You could have asked him "was your plan to sit behind and kick at the end?".
Did any media interview him? The premier track event & the favorite loses. No one gets an interview?
