Hi everyone,
So this season, I have created a regimen of 3 days of lifting weights each week along with two days of cycling (one hour) after practice. However, my new coach has not been wanting me to do so as she says that it will make me slower. Is this true? I will, of course, not be doing these "doubles" once peak season comes around, but right now, while we are in base phase, I do not see any harm, as I still log 6 days of running per week and have been doing steady mileage.
Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!
