What a legend!
What a legend!
That fall right at the line was a bit scary. I thought he could have hurt his knee. I'm not sure who thought ice-slick concrete was the best finishing surface. It was nice to see him bust out a few push-ups before walking across the line though.
Meb is 33rd 8:02 off the pace.

I was also afraid about his knee....He may feel it later. I think it was the paint on the concrete that was so slick when it got wet from the rain.
Loved it. I was scared he pulled his groin, but seemed to be okay.
The painted rings before the line got slippery in the rain. Glad no one was hurt -- lots of slipping and sliding at the finish.
I loved the push up part of it.
You said 'thon', you are a loser. 4 extra letters takes so long to type, or do you just think you are cool.

Your reply contained 2 more sentences than we needed.
Calling a marathon a 'thon' is like calling San Francisco 'Frisco.'
These are the same people who call the Atlantic Ocean 'the pond.'
After all the slips at the finish line the organizers should have placed someone 25-50 meters before the finish line to warn the thon finishers.

Yeah. All the cool kids call it the mary. C'mon!
Meb did the push ups to cover up him falling before the line.
Just like the guy in the video that fell off the treadmill looking at a girl's ass.

So did I! Instead of everyone thinking poor old Meb was so spent he stumbled just before the finish line.
He thought quick, did a few push ups and earned some attaboys. He showed the heart of a lion.
Got it from Christian Hesch??

Or perhaps Mo Farah.
Guess that Skechers Traction in the rain Isn't So Good
have to admit, that was my first thought..."damn, he's going to get hammered for that- I ruined that for him." Sorry Meb...
dude-
I can't believe the stupid surface the organizers had the marathoners run over in those last few miles.
Why no in-stadium finish on the track?

I'm not a fan of showboating or theatrics during any portion of s race. I wish he didn't fall, but that caused his fall. Run during the race. Do the other stuff after.
