Tall, elegant and powerful stride it was a thing of beauty. The incredible separation from the pack. And knowing this could be last time. GF asked what's that in your eye - I said allergies acting up.

No. Thank you he's gone so the commentators all over the world can focus on other athletes more evenly.
Thank god*
Please, exit the closet.
Yeah, I was tearing up my betting slips on Japan. Would have been a nice pay-out.
Oh, you meant tear, not tear. Stupid English language.
Cool, I didn't know Ato posted here.

Hey, look! It's a liberal! Participation medals for everyone!
I was too busy cringing as Japan beat the U.S. to the line
Sigh
Tired of Bolt, on the decline, let's move on. Of course I got tired of Carl Lewis too so maybe it's me. But I did appreciate Tyson Gay for awhile until positive drug tests.
It's like when Haile and Bekele started fading out. The times were great but the drugs left a huge hangover. I'm ready for the next generation.

10/10 for one of the most pathetic posts ever...I was at least hoping you were a chick...go get your testosterone checked and grow a set of balls...
I teared up a little watching the women's 4x100, that was a classic.

LOL - good one.
Age quoted by Bolt as the reason he ran his slowest Olympic times. He's still young when compared to Gatlin/Christie. Real reason is that this Olympics is the first time he is more or less at his natural talent level(10.8 and 19.7). He is still probably the best of all time when drugs are taken out of the equation(Johnson included?). Just maybe we are seeing the start of the fight back because of more comprehensive allround global drug testing. I am cautiously hopeful.

sure, as a lover of all things running technique related, I love the slow motions from the side cam. the guy can run, and especially from the side he looks great.
But, tearing up? no way. I hold it against him that he never ran an all out race. without the show and games he plays the last 30 meters he could have run much much faster
