What heat is Fam in? I haven't seen him yet.

...LOVE the US fans in the stadium...
I'm watching the TRACK only feed....so it's just straight up track events...no commentary etc.
Did anyone see Jager wince on the starting line?
Damn Jager looked good there. Completely in control. Absolutely can't wait for the final
Can Don Cabral give the USA a clean sweep of opening round?
Emma C looking hot as hell in those wet shorts and tshsirt.

Thanks. H3 about to begin.
anyone know why Jager wears half-tights in the heats, yet wears shorts in the final? Is there some sort of recovery benefit with half tights?

The free ones from my vault are all showing NBC. The BBC feeds are showing cycling.
We're sorry. We doofuses need your insights.
But sulking is most unbecoming. Man up with some Red Bull or something.
This will be over soon.
I'm watching this feed:

Use ublock origin, ghostery and privacy badger in chrome or firefox.
If you have access to a cable login, this feed is good. British and Australian announcer, so obviously they know what they're talking about. ;)

Thats cool - Paula Radcliffe just said that when Kowal goes out training, her daughter looks after his dog for a bit of pocket money. Fact of the day!
Bit of surging going on. Cabral is not in the lead pack.
Like the first heat, the second heat was slow for the first 2k (2:50.29 and 5:42.20). This was going to come down the last lap. American Evan Jager had the lead at the bell and was followed closely by two-time Olympic silver medallist Mahiedine Mekhissi. As they ran down the backstretch, they were joined by 2012 Olympic champ Brimin Kipruto and those three would cruise over the final 200 and easily secure the three auto qualifying spots, squashing any fears that one of them would miss out on the final given the fact that the Bahrain’s John Koech was also in this heat and had the best seasonal best of anyone in the field at 8:09.62. Koech was just sixth.
Jager’s last lap was an unofficial 61.3.

Fam didn't qualify. But he is in Rio. My buddy saw him last night on the street trying to sell off his Run Like Hell DVDs and offering charicatures. He keeps saying, "I'm an Olympian." Everyone's like, "ok buddy." Looks homeless.
