Huddle is going to get her medal in some years.
Some people saying in twitter "it must be a superfast track".
But wait!!! if it's fast for the distance runners, it's slow for the sprinters. And Organizers said that is a fast track for sprinters actually.
Susan Kuijken was the first clean athlete. Huddle is clean as a 40 year old grease pipe, sorry man :(
now let's sing the Wilhelmus!

I am so disgusted. So disappointing that it has got this bad. Huddle is the Olympic champion in my eyes. She is the only athlete without suspicion around her. I wish there was a way we could all show appreciation to Huddle. Let's run should put up a crowd funded bonus for her
Huddle set a HUGE PR. So why wouldn't she be under suspicion?

Congrats to Huddle (clean winner), Infeld, and all other legit athletes in the race.
How do you know Huddle is clean? She ran a lot faster than anyone thought she could.
Ok, as expected from LR, all the hate pouring out immediately about doping. I am not saying that I am 100% sure that she is clean, nobody knows, only she knows for sure. Why don't we just enjoy this spectacular performance and give her the benefit of the doubt, as an athlete who has never been implicated in any doping scandal and who has been performing consistently for quite some time now?
It was pretty perfect splits for a WR.
Didn't Junxia Wang run some ridiculous negative split? Still making hers a superior performance.
ie if Wang had perfect pacing she'd probably still be WR holder.

when your child comes home with 100% mark on an exam do you immediately accuse them of cheating?
Think about what you are saying
If my child comes home with 100% mark on an exam, when he regularly comes home with 60%/70% efforts, and I saw that he did not studied the days before, I could think that he probably cheated his exam. The question is how.
29:17 by itself is worth
5000: 14:06
Marathon: 2:17
So this is already a stronger performance than the current 5000 WR.
Sub 14 possible?
Paulas 2:15 is still stronger. While I don't believe she benefitted much from the male pacers, she certainly had some help from the point to point course having more tail than headwind that day.

Fair enough but she's also pretty new to the 10,000 on the track.

Because she's white....duh.
It's the same surface as was used in London at the Diamond League meeting recently and there was a 110m Hurdle WR set as well as a lot of other fast times. I think Mo ran the fastest 5k this year at the meet.
I'm not up on the science of tracks but thought that if it was fast for sprinters then it would be slow for long distance but maybe this surface is different.
I find it hard to believe that it's short, but you'd have to look at it.
Then you'd have to ask if they are cheating but I can't believe that 4 of them are (and all the other PBs), I think it's just a fast track.
Everyone is on gear at the olympics....youd be naiive to think pro coaches and governemnts dont have complex programmes..
That said, this WR and the top 5 in this race are 100% doped to the gills...however it shouldnt take away from the achievement because no one can dope and rum as fast.
if the track was short, shouldn't the 800m times have been faster. even for it being the first round the times were not all that quick.
this was an astonishing race.
Just wanted to add that I am not being a blind patriot here. For example, I have difficulty now believing Genzebe is clean after the Jama Aden scandal. So just wanted to emphasis that Ayana has never been implicated in any scandal so far.

So Huddle finished 5th, how many years will it be until she is awarded a bronze medal in this race?
Never because she is dirty as well.
Great run by Norway's Karoline Grovdal. 31:14 and PR by 9 seconds. Next best white girl!
You can't believe 4 women under 30:00 racing for an Olympic gold are cheating? Wow, the naivete on here is staggering sometimes. I got news for you, Huddle didn't destroy her own PR cleanly either.

There is a technician currently following her around since she'll be heading for a test within the next hour.
Where anyone on the podium never tests positive.
Who has a breakdown of the splits?
Saying Huddle is the clean winner is the epitome of how weak and dumb Americans are now.
