It seems that anyone from Eastern Europe, Russia, North Africa and the Middle East is pretty much guaranteed to be doping. The IOC and WADA need to get their sh!t together.
Unsurprising it's a woman to be first.
Guess it's modern feminism.
Waiting for the B sample.

How do you know the official did it with Rotich's knowledge or at his request?
Have they gone back and tested the real Ferguson Rotich?

C'mon, don't be so hard on Farah. He got diligent with his push-ups. We've been over this.

Sounds like Mobot

In competition test? That doesn't sound right.

So you think drugs work?
Would've been much more believable if she'd moved to Flagstaff and started running 8:00 miles and downing lattes on the regular.

Maybe you just want to say anyone not in America?

Come on, be fair. Mo became a world beater starting in 2011 when he joined Salazar, then later that year won 5k & 10k at Worlds, right? But prior to that:
7:34 indoor 3k PR
12:57 5k PR
6th place & 7th place finishes at Worlds
Also, he was only 28 in 2011. It's rare but not crazy for a 28-year old 6th best guy in the world to become the 1st best guy.

You're kidding right? The Russian information was thanks to a whistleblower who has since been banned from these Games, we continue to see scandals and positives, athletes are calling each other out, and some idiot above tried to conflate being the first to test positive with a "new feminism."
No one at WADA or the IOC has their shit together.
she isnt quite world class, though,is she? i remember bulgaria being pretty good in athletics,a long time ago.not so,now.she must have been on an industrial strength epo to come up positive,at these games.

Rare? In fact, it's unprecedented.

Not for the top Kenyan/Ethiopian elite athletes.
