Very interesting interview at
The interview is with Jack Robertson, a former DEA "agent of the year" and WADA's first chief investigator. He was the chief WADA investigator in the current Russian doping scandal, but has since been dismissed by WADA, He offers a unique perspective on the unfolding story and describes WADA and the IOC as repeatedly bowing to political concerns and paralyzed by a reluctance to take on a powerful nation. Among other things, he says WADA president Sir Craig Reedie tried to avoid, block and undermine the investigation into the state-run Russian doping, and at every step the only way Robertson was able to get things to move forward was through media coverage and pressure.
