Going to the University of British Columbia this year, where I'll be studying History. Never received any awards or scholarships during high school, but because my parents make a good living (combined salary of $800,000 annually), they offered to pay for my education as long as I maintained a passing grade in school.
I'm not sure I can attain a passing grade in my classes, and am scared that I will have to take a student loan like everybody else. How do I convince my parents that they should just pay for me because I'm simply their child?
