I am serious. At least from now until end of Ocotober. I think I can run between a 6 and 630 mile right now. I will try end of next week.
I have some speed. Still mending an injury, so not really running fast. 40.x in the 300, For sure sub 12 in the 100. I just ran 3x150 in low 19 and I cannot run all out yet. Im 50.
I am just staying in decent shape until I can run fast again. So I thought I would take 2 months and work on more endurance.
Trying to get to sub 6, hopefully under 5:30
Here is my training schd.
There are times when I cannot do workouts because of my knee and hamstring, so I just skip it and either swim or rest or light lift.
Here is a general sense of my training for a week
3-4x800- Trying to go sub 3min with 3 min rest
5-8x200 Depending on how I feel 32-35 1-2 min rest
Long jog or swim- remember I'm a sprinter so going over 1 mile is a big thing for me. Usually 2 miles or consistent swimming for 10 min. I hate these workouts and its a struggle to mentally get through it.
I lift weights 2-3 times Pretty heavy- Bench, hip thrusts, RDL,Pull ups, glute ham machine, I may start back squats if my knee recovers.
Maybe add in 4x400 when possible
