I have been having pain in my left hip for the past few days now and I'm really worried about it. The pain is vague and hard to describe, but it's in the front of my hip. It hurts when shifting my weight off of my leg, when leaning into my hip (feels like a pulling tendon), it will occasionally burn/stab in the hip socket, and my groin will sometimes ache while sitting down. It doesn't hurt all the time and I barely feel it when I run, but the pain arrives sporadically throughout the day. I also feel a weird popping/snapping sensation when raising my knee up to my waist while standing or doing leg raises on my back, almost like a tendon is catching on the ball of the femur. I'm sorry that this is so long-winded but I was wondering if anyone has experienced this type of pain before. Thanks so much in advance.
