What a stupid name. Is the presented by "under armour" really necessary?

'Nuttycoombe ' is a stupid name regardless of who presents anything associated with it.
You're an idiot. It's called a sponsor and they pay for things. If you didn't know hosting a meet cost money.

So how come Oregon doesn't host a "Bill Dellinger invitational presented by Nike"
Also, under armour is an advertiser, not a sponsor.
If the event wouldn't be financially possible without under armour then you could call them a sponsor but all of the teams pay an entry fee to cover meet costs so under armour is an advertiser.
Will the Badger runners actually wear Under Armour shoes? Do they make track spikes, or any other specialty shoes for track events?

But is/was a great TRACK & FIELD Coach, and certainly worthy of an event named in his honor. Although, I prefer "Nutty Night at the Oval"

Um, when Under Armour gives the school $96 million I think they're a sponsor.
Seems like the right way to do it, rather than Under Armour Nuttycoombe Wisconsin Invitational.
It's like when Fiesta Bowl became Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and the Rose Bowl became Rose Bowl presented by AT&T.
And I'm sure Under Armour has signed an agreement to be the presenting sponsor that specifies they will be in the event name, get their logo in print media, have a presence at the meet and so on. It's how those things work. You don't get your name in the event title for buying an ad.
