To all you LetsRun MD's, please help me identify this injury:
About a 2.5 inch long area of the area above my ankle hurts. It hurts on the inside of my leg under the my tibia bone just above my ankle. It hurts to touch but I am unsure if it is my tibia that hurts or the nearby tendon. The injury hurts the most in the morning when I wake up and there is mild pain when walking on it. There is no pain when i am sitting, however it does hurt when I flex my ankle from side to side. I am able to run through the pain. When running it starts off with mild pain that gradually goes away on the run. It someones hurts at the end of my run as well. There is also pain on the inside arch of my foot. This pain is less severe but it is noticeable. This might be unrelated but I am not sure.
Anybody have any idea what this injury may be and how to treat it?
