Anyone have any Heps results?
Anyone have any Heps results?
same questions!
they say 8pm they will post full results from today.
Cornell and Princeton are locked in a duel for the team title.
Nolan Tully defeated Bruce Hyde in the 3K. This is not a joke.
Pat Tarpy's shoe also fell of in the same race. Cornell has good qualifiers in all events. 1000 looks wide open behind Foreman, Jaworski and Carmody are going to have a big battle in the 800. Tassinari looked strong in the mile.
There will also be a showdown in the 60 between Ifill and Lester.
Tully did take down Hyde in the 3k with a 28 last lap.
Forman is in the 1000, not the 800.
sorry, should have had a period or a semi-colon after Foreman
on the women's side Bierbaum broke 16 minutes
heps mile?!
mile results?????????
damn robot!
news?! who won?!
Cornell won both men's and women's.
WE RULE!!...Men and women..
See you all at Columbia in May
High High High.......PKP
what happened in the 4x4/4x8/DMR? Was Hyde running?
hyde ran the DMR but cornell only got 6th because their 1200 leg fell. even still, hyde and tully looked like they were just trying to beat each other and not catch up with the field (until hyde unleashed his kick on the last lap)
Some Columbia (Delilah D) ran a time in the mile trials that would have won her the title...I know she's going to get an ear full.
Long live Tassinari!

I'm glad I moved to ithaca. Wish the Cornell DMR hadn't gotten tripped up as they had the best DMR in the field but that's track for you. Great meet. Way more exciting that USATF indoors. Lananna was in attendance on Saturday.
I want to congratulate everyone at Cornell and Rojo because they put a lot of work into it and surprised a lot of people.
I can't believe i'm posting this but wanted to point out a great performance.

That 3000m race between Nolan Tully, of Penn, and Bruce Hyde, of Cornell, was one of the greatest races I've ever seen. Tully made a move with 1000m to go, and Hyde and a few others went with him. With 400m to go, Hyde overtook Tully and seemed to open up a 3-5m lead. At this point, it appeared as though Hyde was going to unleash a kick that no one in the field could match, but Tully stayed with him. With 150m to go the two of them charging down the backstretch stride for stride, Tully somehow beat Hyde to the turn and hel him off for the title. All the Quakers in attendance stormed the track, mobbing Tully. Utterly amazing...
What happened to Tarpy from Brown? He had an 8:03 time going in but did not show anything in either the 3k or mile final. Is he hurt?
Lost his shoe in the 3k and ran on.He should have stopped on the track, put on some sneakers and jogged. If he had stopped altogether he would have been ineligable for any further races.I imagine he had a very sore foot the next day,and running with only one shoe is not good for one's back.
