I choose basketball.
I would be at least 10 inches taller, get paid ludicrous multimillion dollar contracts, and have sex with beautiful women every night.

Golf. Love playing the game. Travel the world in your private jet playing best courses. Pick and choose which events to play. Lots of money and a smokin wife. And the saying no pain no gain does not apply to golf practice.

You obviously don't mean the WNBA. Sure you can have sex with women every night but they are anything but beautiful. Many are more manly than NBAers.
Basketball, for the same reasons as the OP. I like tennis, though, and the travel's better than in the NBA.
Road Cycling. Northern Classics, Grand Tours, World Champs, all the dope you could ever want?
Curling. Why marathoners are out running 20 miles a day, you can be all curled up (no pun intended) taking a nap.
Sex.

Just about the worst possible choice. If you are lucky you are only like 6'5. If you are unlucky you are 6'11. Granted it isn't as bad as football or boxing.
Some of it comes down to how elite we are talking. There are a lot of sports where the top 10 make crazy bank but say 150 isn't the same.
Golf is a good one. You can have long earning career (guys like Arnie and Jack still rake in money 30+ years after they ceased to be world class). Soccer is way up the list (gusy like Ronaldo and Messi are making 75 million/year). Tennis is a good one but it tends to be a younger mans game and the pay drop off is pretty sharp. A couple of the race car drivers also make bank. Baseball pitcher is iffy in that the pay is great and you work every 4 or 5 days but you have a pretty high risk of having some serious shoulder/arm issues latter in life.
I would want to be a male golfer. The FedEx Cup alone pays out $35 million and $10 million to the winner. I've never played golf but I hear there is mental anguish involved, so that's good.
As a female, I would pick tennis (which I actually would like to be good at).
For love of sport only, I would want to be a 10k specialist and rub elbows with Tirunesh Dibaba and Ayana Almaz at the Olympics.
If we get to choose our fate, I'd be plenty happy enough being an Olympic medal caliber distance runner. Decent contracts, travel Europe every summer, simple lifestyle, Olympic glory. That's good enough for me.
NFL Punter. Only away from home 8 weekends a year. Minimum salary is still 400K. No concussions. No pressure like place kicker. Still get chicks for being in NFL.
Skateboarding.
Baseball. Designated hitter. Get millions to play about 15 minutes per game.

I was going to say baseball pitcher. Thinking A-Rod salary and not having to play a million games a year...

Hahaha! Great choice!
I would pick basketball. There'd be nothing like hitting a game winning shot at the buzzer in the playoffs! It'd also be nice to break LeBron's ankles with my killer crossover. Lots of money to be made for playing, as well as in endorsements. I assume because I'm elite that I get my own sneaker, right? Shoe deals can go into the 100's of millions.
I love football and playing QB (in flag football), so that would be my choice if it weren't for, ya know, the head injuries and pain in your body for the rest of your life.
Baseball is boring to me now and the season is way too long.

I choose beach volleyball.
Baseball without question, if I get to choose a position starting pitcher.
Have you seen what BB players make compared to other sports?

Bobby Bonilla hasn't played in like 13 years or so (not sure when he retired). He just got paid a milion dollars. I heard he is to be paid each year until 2081.
If there were no health repercussions, either NFL QB or MMA fighter. How cool would it be to be either of these at the elite level?
