Here's a guy that has ran 9.92 and 19.80 in 2011. I thought he was going to be a force to be contended with in the 200. However he's practically been on a downhill slide ever since. He's only 26 what do you reckon happened?

You didn't post the thread title properly. I will re-post for you in the accepted LRC format. Thanks accepted in advance.

He trains "clean"(he could be pushing the gray zone ie Salazar) and he has had injuries. Times have exploded while he has slightly regressed. I suspect guys weren't at their chemical peak for Rio because of fear of being caught and this allowed Lemaitre to pip his way to bronze.
Bronze in the 200m is not done, but it is true that Lemaitre made a swift ascent to his top level and has been a fair amount below that ever since. Remember that he was not a very strong guy or good starter and the question would be whether his subsequent training actually diminished his natural gifts.

Times hasn't exploded since Lemaitre peak in 2011-2012 , quite the reverse, the times overall became weaker & weaker and the fact his times followed the same trend isn't a proof of probity (didn't he use to break 10" flat pretty often 5 years ago).

If he was juicing he should demand his money back as he was obviously fed a placebo pill.

Major props for somehow thinking of Olive Oyl when Lemaitre was brought up. Random 10/10
