Gags has a ton of people, but as usual Cabral is the only real contender of the group. Outside of Higginson and maybe Merber, NJNY really just trying to qualify for Trials. Too many members
Jerry was best of course, but men underperformed a little. This group is tough to grade because they are all the very best to start and paid the very most. They are just like the NOP, but smaller and no real medal threats except Jager where as NOP has Centro, Rowbury, and Rupp.
Mackey had a tough one for sure, but who from that group was supposed to do much better. Only Cas has made a team before. The animosity will grow though they continue to get a lot of 2nd tier people together (Yorks, Kidder, Walker, etc just this year).
Zap nobody.
OTC did well with Mead, Blankenship, and Jock obviously but it is hard to ignore the carnage outside of them of some really great runners and all the resources NOP and Bowerman enjoy.
NAZ Elite. several qualifiers, but starting from so far back talent-wise. Where's Lutz?
BAA. Mahon better hope Leah (adidas now) and Soratos (adidas now) transfer quickly.
Furman Elite. 5 finalists with Garcia coming closest (I didn't personally consider that an upset; 2nd-4th PRs all the same heading into it.
At the end, the Nike clubs and Wetmore and Molly Huddle dominated as usual.
Chula Vista have Joe Kovacs and 15 others on #TEAMUSA.
