Awesome! I have a major crush on D'ags. I hope she does well in Rio!!!
Good for her but not sure I'd want to get in thay way......
Nah who the eff am I kidding.
Hotness factor of the Rio distance squad just went up SIGNIFICANTLY
HAG!
Go Big Green!
I wish MH would double. If I were part of her team like her coach I'd encourage her to double and then give my reasons but I'd leave the final decision up to her.

That's awesome. She's a classy Dartmouth grad too from Mass...unlike those runners from Ole Miss, like Engels hicks who watch NASCAR 24/7 and open beer bottles with their teeth.
Go Abbey!!!
No idea who you are referring to (sounds a bit personal to you), but I think it would be pretty awesome if I found out an American distance runner Olympian regularly opens beer bottles with her teeth...
+1
what about jordan ??? wrote:

It looks like that altitude training in Flagstaff did work. Oh well.
Go Abbey D'Agostino!!!

She looked near death with two laps to go, she has a Japanese-like "pain-face" expression. Glad she could make it after her near-miss in 2012 and the setbacks since.
She has a month to improve another 15-sec or so... she can do it.
I wonder if it was Emily Infeld or her coach who made the final decision. Infeld is such a nice person that I can see her not wanting to leave Abbey D' off the Olympic team.
She'll definitely be more fit assuming she stays healthy between now and then!
Wow, this is great. Been a fan of Abbey ever since than out of nowhere NCAA cross country finish as a sophomore. Congrats.
Realistically, the Olympic 5K could be run at a sit and kick pace and still be faster than the personal bests of any American woman. I think Infield and Huddle know where to focus their efforts.
Is she single?
I love watching her run as her face always appears to be in severe pain and like she is about to die.. but she just keeps going.

She was hurt for a while this year, correct? She may peak at the perfect time now that she's been healthy enough to string some consecutive training months together.
That's only because not many people have seen a picture of Gwen Berry, Hammer Thrower for the USA.
