WTF is wrong with you people? Can you not watch video in slow mo? Are you that terrible at physics that you can't notice actions and reactions and people's posture? Or do you just assign all blame to people you don't like, regardless of the actual circumstances? MONTANO WAS NOT INVOLVED IN INITIAL CONTACT.

Pity there is no Zapruder movie from this angle. About the only comment I would make as Martinez' prosecuter (or AM defender) is...look at BM's right foot plant. Firmly in lane one, suggesting she was running too close to the inside. I know I know, that was maybe a stride after the (not AM) clip, but helps clear AM of blame. I would add that, based on momentum just prior to the fracas, BM was by no means a lock on top 3.

It's crazy to me how no one thinks Montano had a shot at the team or that she was 'done.' She ran 1:59.1 last year to WIN the U.S. Championships against a shoeless Wilson and (you guessed it) Brenda Martinez. The team WOULD HAVE been Grace, Montano, and Wilson this year. Just look at Martinez last year, flailing the last 50m while Montano stays controlled.

Montano is in lane 2 Martinez is in lane 1. How does montano clip Martinez' left foot if she is not directly behind her?

The frames before that show Martinez nearly by the side of Wilson and moving ahead. You can't just look a full stride later and say "oh she was stopped (or knocked down), therefore she wasn't running, etc. Try using your brain the next time you post.

Montano could not have clipped Martinez' left foot by being to her right in lane 2. Montano would have to be directly behind Martinez. The calm in Montano's face also doesn't show being kicked by a spike.

It doesn't help to keep posting the same thing when you're already been proven wrong many times. It just makes you keep looking more stupid.

I too think BMart pulled an Uceny, i.e. was riding too close to the rail, got clipped, and went down.

This photo shows the stride after contact, but we can infer what happened from this. First of all, their right feet are only inches apart in respect to the line.

By Montano stepping on Martinez` left foot, this would have caused her next step and momentum to come inward for balance, at least making up for the few inches difference. Thus, this photo is in line with the other evidence that Montano caused the initial contact, and the chain reaction.

It would additionally help to see the photos before this one.

She starts flailing around and montano isn't close to her. I have a suspicion one of her old UCR pals keeps posting the same stuff about montano.

You can see Rogers' right leg was in the path of Martinez' left leg coming forward. Rogers and Martinez are extremely close. Montano is to the right and behind nowhere near Martinez' left leg
