He's going viral, baby! DRODDY! DRODDY! DRODDY!
I applaud you Droody, for finishing that race when the pace and the heat forced 7 guys to bag it. Keep at it. Your current PR 28:22 is nothing to sneeze at. Good luck in the future.
Yep- this guy needs his own LR handle . . . And a beer tab funded by the LR community. Great article. He should have slept in the tent though- that would have been legendary.
A 28:22 10k runner. That's even faster than the official average letsrunner. He doesn't earn $ 250,000 though.
Where can I send some money to help support him?
Great story! Not too shabby for a hobby jogger. 28:22 almost cracks the letsrun top 100.
Raced against Droddy many times in college, he was a cool guy then too. Awesome to see how well he is doing

Not him, but he did a gofundme to send his parents to trials.
https://www.gofundme.com/29q9epvwHis masseur was cut out of the mix, though.

Under his name it should say "Everyman's Hero"

His handle is already mentioned in the article - Joe Dirt doppelganger.
It sucks that I had to read a RW article to find out about this guy.
I raced against Noah all through college as well. What an inspiring story. He was never a D3 champion (he made nationals a number of years and was All American in xc), and he has risen to the top. Says a lot about dedication and hard work. Keep doing what you do, Noah. There are a lot of us out here who take huge inspiration from your journey. Can't wait to see what the future has in store for you.
Awesome story and cool guy. Respect Droddy
What a missed opportunity for NBC to connect viewers to a story that the "average" running might actually be inspired by. Instead we got constant cut-aways to the shot put, even with 5 minutes left in the race. So frustrating, but glad Droddy's story is being shared now.
I loved the quote about letsrun, but also listened to his band and was pleasantly surprised.

YES! Exactly. 100% The problem is NBC is too in love with the 100m and Usain Bolt to care about a real American dream story. Just one more reason why NBC blows. Kudos to RW for picking this up! Great piece!
but hey wait, I thought Alexi Pappas was supposed to be the most different/out there/interesting person to step on a track? who does this guy think he is???
Just another Dave Grohl side project.

Yet you, or anyone, fails to mention which college he attended. Just the ubiquitous Div. III.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
