Tweet from Sally Bergsen of Oiselle states "the USOC is demanding we remove all trials competition pictures from @oiselle social media/website. More soon."
What a bunch of thugs.... This sport is dead!

I noticed that they had some great shots of the early going but none of the final curve. Those shots would probably clear any confusion of how events went down.

Does anyone know if Oiselle could use the pictures if they paid a licensing fee? If so, what is the fee?
I'm a little surprised Oiselle didn't know the IP situation until now, or hadn't figured out a way around the them.
Maybe they weren't expecting Grace to win.
Does track & field have the biggest collection of twitter whiners in all of sport? The majority of tweets from pros and people associated with the sport is straight up bitching 100% of the time.
She knows the rules...I am just waiting for Oiselle to start photoshopping images again like they usually do.
This is terrible, these decisions by USOC are terrible for the sport and ridiculous............oh what.........a woman?
In that case she's a whiny bitch who needs to shut up.
I think sally is full of it. Brooks and Saucony have trials pictures.

The same way Nike does? I was at a Nike outlet in the US recently and they had a picture of Felix racing at an Adidas sponsored meet (I was at the meet in 2011) from Europe and the bib on her jersey was blank which removed the Adidas logo from the big.
Sally really has that Resting Bitchy Face.
Does anyone really think Oiselle will be in business by the next Olympics

Just waiting now for the USOC to go after LRC for daring to post pics from the trials.
Next the USOC will go after anyone not paying them a fee to identify the names of the competitors at the trials. News stories will be, "Anonymous competes in event at trials--event, distance/time, and placing cannot be stated due to restrictions enforced by the USOC and their sugar daddies.

Until earlier this year, IP enforcement was not strict. But, then one of USOC's lawyers started talking tough, warning the world they would be strictly enforcing IP rights.
And here we are.
The same thing will happen at the Olympics across all sports.
I'm not sure how the big photo farms like Getty Images will deal with this. Maybe they bought rights?

Ding, Ding, Ding ... Winner, Winner Winner.
The USOC, USATF, etc. need new revenue streams. Lawyers need pay raises. The scam grows large; the death of the sport is on the way.
