If Kam had any plans to run the 10000m with Karoki as his wingman in stringing out Mo, they've just flown out of the window. Assuming its first two plus Kam as wildcard, will Tanui & Mneria (?) work with Kam and sacrifice themselves for the good of a Kenyan gold in Kam's hands?
I see Rudisha is also going to have to rely on a wildcard pick too as he finished third.
According to a Reuter's article shared by Adharanand Finn in Twitter (link here:

), before the trials Kamworor has been offered a wild card for the 10000m but (again, according to the article) he asked a written commitment by Athletics Kenya.
As you can imagine, this happened: "We had slotted him for a wild card, but he insisted on a written commitment, which we don't do," said one of the selectors, who did not wish to be named.
It's pretty obvious that the best shot for the kenyans in Rio would be Kamworor and Karoki teaming togheter early in the 10000m if they want to beat Farah, as they did in Cardiff.
Agreed about the best shot. But if the policy says first two at the trials plus a wildcard, then either Kamworor or Karoki aren't going. And if Kam has annoyed the selectors, perhaps he won't get selected out of spite.
(I should add I can't find the policy anywhere)
Whilst I personally want to see Mo crush the field and take gold, I would want to see Mo taking on the best to win, rather than the best of the rest, so I hope Kamworor gets the nod.
