I've been dealing with some lower back/hip pain for about 5 weeks now. I have not tried running until about 2 days ago. The pain seems to be in my lower right back or my right hip/glute. I tried running again because I didn't have any pain while walking for about a week or so. My hip was a little sore after the run. I woke up the next morning and my lower right back was super tight again. I have no pain while just walking around or sitting just a really tight lower back. The pain shows up when I strike/push off on my right leg only. I have no clue what is going on and I don't start my new health insurance until August. Any ideas what could be going on with me? It started after I completed a 5 day rest period following my last marathon.
