I prefer to shoot at hecklers with my GLOCK 43, which I I carry on all of my runs for self-preservation, the protection of innocents, and petty revenge.
A bag of dog poop in a bag that split open on impact is better. Doesn't damage the car. And the smell lingers. They can't drive away from it.
Try a boomerang.
I rarely get heckled while on a run. I imagine if I had a gun--paintball or not--slung over my back, I wouldn't get heckled at all.

The problem with that is u have to have it readily available for the moment the shit occurs. Hard to do
You clearly are not in Florida or Texas as most motorists have a real gun and stand your ground would allow them to walk free after you shoot your paint gun at them. Good plan.

File a police report. That car got dangerously close to you. Assault with a deadly weapon.
You better have the license plate.
PD won't do anything about it, but you'd be surprised how often it turns out to be the same person. They think they are relatively anonymous until PD gives a damn and knocks on their door.
