Anyone can do the first day, I want to see the 10th or 20th day. I'll be impressed if he even makes it a week.

Im watching as well quite interesting
Wasn't Daniel best friend with his coach? just saying lol
Note that Ryun and the other guys from Wichia East jogged very slow a lot too, like 20 minute mile pace. I warmed up with them before a cross country race, they were going so slow I started to walk and they said "coach likes us to keep running" so I did and it was okay but slow. Of course in the race they ran hard. Ryun did the same thing between reps on the track, along with walking etc.

Kenyans do that as well.
Link to where he originally said he was going to attempt this? Just looking for some context for the challenge.
I wonder how many of these 'Jim Ryun workouts' are in fact exaggerated bullshit.
There was a runner who followed Bannister's workouts for a season and broke the four minute mile barrier. This was back in the late 1950's.
They were real and not exaggerated. Unlike most of your bs

Haha! Oh sorry, I disrespected the sacred Jim Ryun on Letsrun. Forgive me.
You make a troll comment like that on every thread to get a reaction. I gave you the attention you wanted, little boy.
Jim Ryun might be the most overrated runner of all time.
