I plan on increasing mileage for marathon training. Trying to decide is the Pegasus 33 is enough shoe for runs of 15+ miles or if something like the Vomero would be better.
I'm a supinator who lands on my forefoot. Relatively light. 6' 135 lbs.
Any advice would be appreciated.
The Pegasus is plenty of shoe for a 15 mile run. I've done runs of at least 18 in them. I'm about your size, 5' 11" and 130 lb. Some people do prefer vomero though, so you might want to try it. They're more expensive, though.
peg is a bit lighter and faster feeling, vomero is softer and more shoe (heavier as well).
i like the pegs more but you cant go wrong either way
Vomero is going to feel much softer, while the Pegasus will be more responsive. Now that the Pegasus 33 has Zoom Air in the forefoot (it only had it in the heel in past versions) it should appeal to you more.
Have you considered the Zoom Elite 8?

agreed. Get some Hoka Stinson 3's. This is training - you ain't gonna race in 'em. These will protect you from injury.
Gotta agree with the Hoka's tried some on the other day, really nice, have a look at a pair of Adidas tempo boosts. If you are used to Nike then Adidas might your best bet. Personally, I reckon that Saucony has a better range than Nike at the moment. Nike is losing its magic.
Odd, I've been running exclusively in Nikes for over 30 years and have never had any knee pain. Quit generalizing if you don't know what you're talking about.
Do you think the Zoom Elite 8 is wider than Pegasus 33? I'm actually 170lbs. but find that firmer shoes work better to keep my form. I do enjoy the latest Wildhorse after about 100 miles its good for pavement.

In my memory (though it's been half a year since I wore Elites and I never wore the 8s regularly) the Elites do feel a bit wider than Pegasus 31/32. I don't know about 33. And the Elite 8 is certainly are a lot firmer than Pegasus.
I am 6'5" 185. I ran in the vomero for 5+ years. Switched to Pegasus and developed plantar fasciitis after approx. 4 months. For 6 months I tried everything under the sun to make it go away, eg multiple Doctor visits, cortisone, PT, stretching, massaging, etc. In desperation I switched backed to the vomero about a month ago. PF is now 99% gone. I'll never wear Pegasus again. They are responsive and fast, but your feet will pay. Note: I do all my workouts in LunaRacers.
