I did 12 miles this morning. Temps were 87 F with 76 F dew point. When I got home I took my temperature and measured 103 F. Am I at risk of hurting myself?

i think your brain is already totally fried, anyway. Whatever potential brain damage from the 103 F fever, has surely already happened.

So you took your temperature twice. Once was 103 F and the next time it was 98.7 F, and from that you determined that your thermometer works properly?
So you're telling us that your body temperature goes up when you run 12 miles in the heat? I'll call Ripley's.
