Anyone know why ches ran the 1500 at the Shelton invite? He only ran 3:41 but apparently the weather wasn't great.

Cause he knows he is a better 800/1500 runner than 5k/10k runner
Probably for the same reason I bought a sesame seed bagel instead of a poppy seed bagel this morning. Because he felt like it.
Does he even have any goals or objectives for the summer? That is the real question. Its my understanding the Olympics is not going to happen for him.
Cheserek is DONE!

The bigger question is, did you get cream cheese with your bagel?

Did you ever think it was possible? Seeing as he would first actually run the Olympic Standard in an event and then, you know, go through the incredibly easy process of making the Kenyan team... Are you thick, mate?

He'd have a pretty good chance in the 10K if his US citizenship application went through in time. That being said, considering he's not entered in the US Trials I guess it didn't.

He doesn't have the 10k standard, only the 5k standard
Can't conpete at US trials and he's defintely not good enough to make the Kenyan team
He would had to be injury free and redshirted the outdoor season if he even wanted a shot at making the Kenyan team
But who cares....

Oregon coaches are the smartest out there. The injury Ches (not enough to affect points at nationals) to make sure he doesn't go pro. Who else is at that level?
