Most posters and most journalists believe in these drugs. It feeds the obsession, which feeds the demand for more stories etc etc.
Yes it's crazy. But it's what people believe.
All the more reason to get drugs out of the sport.

I think it's time to do something about it, Letsrun!
When the doping problem got really bad in cycling, conversations in forums and news articles on cyclingnews.com distracted from actual cycling topics.
So they decided to have a sub-forum where doping could be discussed and anyone who mentioned doping in the other forums would get banned.
I think this would be great for letsrun, too.
The media isn't ruining athletics. Drugs are ruining athletics. You must be a liberal with that kind of "logic."
