So about a month ago near the end of my track season, I was playing frisbee and I took a bad jump and partially tore my acl. I've been out since then and it's been improving at a pretty constant rate so I think I just need another 2 weeks or so. Since I won't be running for most of the summer, I just wanted to know how crucial is it to have good summer training for the coming cross country season? Will I basically be screwed since I've hardly put in any miles, or will I be able to come back and catch up and still have a strong season?
