While most colleges have already finalized their rosters for this year, some coaches and some programs are still likely to have roster openings. it may be difficult to find many colleges that are still accepting undergraduate applications, but theyre out there. Do some researching amd email/call college coaches immediately. Some may even be able to pull some strings for you in the admissions process.
Youd likely be a walk-on at most Power-5 conference programs (B1G, PAC12, SEC, ACC, BIG12). Look into some mid-major conferences (MAC, Horizon, Missouri Vallley, etc.) as you have much better chances of making their squads.
If youre already 100% committed to the college you mentioned in your original post, your best option may be to wait it out and/or join the club team. At the compeititive D1 level it is not uncommon for kids to get cut from the team or just plain quit, so there may be some hope in that aspect. Keep in contact with the coach, ask him for the best plan of action, and keep running. I wish you the best of luck, as anything can happen.
