So ive been running 3 years now starting with an over 20 minute 5k my first year going down to 18:30 in that same year (grade 9). The next year i ran 16:40 (grade 10) , and as a grade 11 I ran 14:55 on the track for 5k (during track season). Im now going into my grade 11 summer about to be in grade 12 and was wondering if I would be able to bring my 14:55 to 14:20-30. I have started lifting weights the last few months and i am currently doing 140km/w. I ran the 14:55 off of 100-115km/w. The "plan" i am on is designed to see major improvements from grade 11 to 12 because my coach said all he was doing in grades 9-10-11 was build a good amount of base foundation. Is this goal achievable? I have 5 months to go from 14:55 to 14:20-30. I want to run those times around xc season so around november
