Just curious to see if people still run in orthotics. When I googled about it, all of the articles about orthotics are old and nothing current.

I do. I had ankle tendon surgery and one of my feet is permanently messed up. I can run, but it's not as smooth as it used to be. The orthotics help.
I use to, super flat feet, stopped though and after adjusting (8mm drop shoes without orthotics) I would say not using them has helped me, never got any bad injuries that affected training.
I have the flattest feet of any LR Poster. I promise. Anyway, from ages 13-18 i wore them, but i gradually transitioned out of them. I'm usually OK, but I can't handle insane mileage or I get achilles/feet issues. 4:20 miler, fyi.
