Also very hardworking too. Its not all talent. Give him credit he work 10000000% harder then 99.9% of all high school runners. There probobly 10 other runner in US that could run ALMOST as fast if they put in the same work

For sure he is hard working and very talented. Just hadn't heard anything about his running as of late. Wish DH only the best.
Is he running Junior Nationals, or going in any pro races to try and get US Olympic standard? Anyone know anything? There was lots of talk about these things earlier in the year.
I too have heard about this too. Maybe he is done? He got his sub 4 mile goal so maybe he want a break from running before training for college?

That hard work may not be the best for him in the long run, can only work so hard for so long, those other just as talented guys are going to start their crazy hard working clock later than he did and may have longer careers.

Just checked results and only saw that his brother (I think it's his brother) ran the two-mile. No mention of Loudoun Valley in DMR. Guess his season is done?
I would have loved to see him take a real shot at the 2 mile record. I think he had a decent chance.
Via a somewhat cryptic tweet from Hunter, it appears he planned to run the DMR this weekend but he and a teammate both got very sick at the same time. Not sure what this means going forward, but at least it isn't injury or burnout. sorry for looking at your tweets like that Drew.
Yeah, his brother Jacob finished 6th in the Freshman 2 Mile in 9:49.49 -- in blustery conditions.

Not entered in US Juniors, or US Olympic Trials.
Didn't run end of the year HS State Championships, Dream Mile, Brooks or New Balance.
Anyone know what happened?
Not quite. He ran three events at his state meet. Anchored the second place 4x800 relay. Won the 3200m. Won the 800m.
Jakob Ingebrigtsen has a 1989 Ferrari 348 GTB and he's just put in paperwork to upgrade it
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
